Requirements

• Bachelors in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years experience in a full stack development role
• Expertise in Ruby
• A proven history of owning issues and driving them to completion
• Ability to thrive with a high level of autonomy and ownership
• Someone who raises the bar and makes peers better, leading by example
• A great team player that shows humility, listens to feedback, and is unafraid to share their point of view

Responsibilities

• Immediately increase the velocity and output of the Applications team by building and delivering features that enable many groups within our org
• Consistently contribute to high-quality releases every 2 weeks according to plan, working in Ruby, Python and React and deployed on AWS
• Eliminating technical debt and prioritizing tech refresh efforts where possible, while not compromising roadmap commitments
• Providing great quality through high test coverage and detailed documentation
• Helping other team members through design and code reviews and feedback

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency or an interest in learning Python
• A passion for clean design, quality, reliability, security, scalability
