Senior Full Stack Engineer

Summary

Join Version 1 as a Senior Full Stack Developer and contribute to building maintainable solutions for clients using Python and React. Collaborate within a Scrum team, utilizing Agile methodologies, and leverage your expertise in AWS architecture and AI/ML. Develop software to meet client needs, adhering to best practices, and participate in improving those guidelines. This role requires staying ahead of technology trends, experimenting with minimal guidance, and effectively documenting technical insights. You will also mentor junior team members and manage stakeholder engagements. Requirements

• Experience of working in a Scrum Team and an Agile environment
• Strong software engineering background covering SOLID principles with extensive experience in Python
• Experience working with AI/ML frameworks or a strong interest in AI/ML is required
• Experience developing REST-based APIs
• Knowledge and some experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins, Ansible, Packer, Docker)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of applications
• Strong front-end development experience with React
• Strong experience in developing and deploying solutions on AWS Cloud, with expertise in AWS services such as Lambda, S3, EC2, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and Cognito (AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect preferred)
• Experience writing unit tests and integration tests
• Ability to manage and co-ordinate stakeholder engagements and meetings
• Ability to mentor junior members on the team

• Learning, developing your skills further and continuously improving will be part of your role
• Develop software to meet our client's user needs using Python, follow best practice guidelines and help to improve those guidelines
• Have a strong background in AWS architecture and a passion for emerging technologies, particularly in AI and machine learning
• Have experience working with AI/ML frameworks or a keen interest in the field, along with the ability to quickly learn and deploy AWS services
• Contribute to the React frontend development within the project
• Stay ahead of technology trends, thrives in an environment that encourages experimentation with minimal guidance, and can effectively document technical insights for stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

Financial Services or Capital Markets experience with FIX protocol is preferred
