Senior Full Stack Engineer, Remote - Worldwide

Summary

Zilliant is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their Engineering team. The candidate will work with various technologies, design software, collaborate on product features, provide mentoring, and contribute to technical discussions. The role requires 5+ years of full stack development experience, REST based web services knowledge, strong object-oriented development skills, cloud infrastructure experience (preferably AWS), microservice experience, Infrastructure as Code familiarity, Serverless Technologies experience is a plus, and experience mentoring others in software development best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full stack development experience
• Experience with REST based web services
• Strong object-oriented development skills
• Experience developing high performing software components with large data sets and an understanding of algorithmic complexity
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Cloud Formation, Terraform, OpenTofu)
• Microservice experience, including Docker, and continuous integration technologies
• Experience mentoring others in software development best practices including unit testing, code reviews, and API documentation

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing software from stated requirements and ongoing iterations
• Collaborating with architects and engineers to design product features
• Providing mentoring and technical guidance for teammates
• Contributing a strong voice to team technical discussions, including grooming and planning

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Serverless Technologies (AWS Lambda, Fargate, API Gateway, etc.) is a plus
