Summary

Join Huckleberry as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer and design, build, and deploy new products and features using AI to improve the lives of children and families. You will own the full development lifecycle, lead engineering projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver finished products to app stores. This role requires expertise in web, Android, and iOS hybrid application development, cloud infrastructure, backend design, and agile methodologies. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, including API calls, closures, debounce, throttle, and lexical scope
  • Proven experience writing asynchronous code using Node.js
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), including availability, security, performance, and integrations
  • Experience designing and building new user-facing applications, products, or features
  • Experience designing and building scalable products
  • Proven track record of ingesting and understanding user feedback to build new or iterative products that exceed expectations
  • Track record of identifying multiple solutions to problems and using sound technical judgment and trade-offs to build great products
  • Proven track record of collaborating with technical and non-technical teams to successfully release products, applications, or features
  • Ability to intake, understand, and respond to user requirements
  • Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical audiences at all levels of an organization to create understanding and alignment

Responsibilities

  • Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design solutions, and deliver life-changing products
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy web, Android, and iOS hybrid applications
  • Design, develop, and manage cloud infrastructure
  • Design and develop backend systems, including data structures and management
  • Run sprint planning and execution
  • Oversee engineers during project execution
