Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience in fast-paced startup environments
- Proven track record of shipping complex features end-to-end
- Strong product intuition and ability to challenge requirements when necessary
- Experience making architectural decisions that stood the test of time
- Deep expertise in modern frontend frameworks (React preferred) and NodeJS backend development
- Strong understanding of database design and optimization (PostgreSQL)
- Experience building and shipping LLM-based features in production environments
Responsibilities
- Partner with product managers to shape product strategy, focusing on impactful solutions rather than just technical elegance
- Lead technical architecture discussions with an emphasis on practical, scalable solutions that align with business goals
- Design and implement systems that balance immediate needs with long-term scalability
- Make pragmatic decisions about technical debt, knowing when to optimize and when to ship
- Drive engineering excellence through mentorship, code reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Lead complex technical initiatives from conception to deployment across our full stack
- Proactively identify opportunities for system improvements while maintaining focus on business priorities
- Design and implement AI-powered features using LLMs to enhance clinical workflows and improve patient care delivery
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with or strong interest in React Native
- Experience leveraging LLMs and AI tools to enhance development productivity
