Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Senior Software Engineer at Quora's AI product, Poe. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver products for bot creators, designing APIs, and iterating quickly on projects using the full web technology stack. The candidate should have 5+ years of experience working with large scale codebases, 3+ years of experience with React, Typescript, GraphQL, and Python or similar programming language.

Requirements

• Ability to be available for meetings and impromptu communication during Quora's coordination hours (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time)
• 5+ years of experience working with large scale codebases and systems, particularly web applications
• 3+ years of experience working with React, Typescript, and GraphQL
• 3+ years experience in Python or similar programming language
• A passion for learning and always improving yourself and the team around you
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with designers, product, data scientists, QA, and other engineers to deliver experiences and products for bot creators
• Design, build, and maintain external developer APIs
• Collaborate closely with LLM providers as well as create tools and infrastructure to enable the ability to easily integrate new LLMs on Poe
• Iterate quickly on projects, from ideation to launch, using the full web technology stack
