Senior Full Stack Engineer

Summary

Join Quora's Poe team as a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build cutting-edge features for our rapidly growing AI product. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, prototype and implement new features, champion user experience and sustainable code, collaborate with LLM providers, and participate in on-call responsibilities. This role requires 5+ years of experience with large-scale codebases, 3+ years with React, Typescript, and GraphQL, and 3+ years with Python or a similar language. Requirements

• Availability for meetings and impromptu communication during Quora's “ coordination hours " (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time)
• 5+ years of experience working with large scale codebases and systems, particularly web applications
• 3+ years of experience working with React, Typescript, and GraphQL
• 3+ years experience in Python or similar programming language
• A passion for learning and always improving yourself and the team around you
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (design, product, data science, QA, and engineering) to advise on product roadmap and create innovative features and user experiences for bot creators
• Rapidly prototype and implement new product features from ideation to production, using modern web technologies and best practices for performance and reliability
• Be a champion for both user experience and for sustainable, scalable code practices
• Collaborate closely with LLM providers to easily integrate new LLMs on Poe
• Participate in on-call responsibilities to ensure Poe provides a reliable and high quality product
