Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Summary

Join House Rx's Product & Engineering team as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, a technical leadership role focused on evolving the pharmacy management platform. You will design and build robust systems, make architectural decisions, and drive technical strategy. The core tech stack includes Node.js, TypeScript, React, Postgres, and AWS. You will lead development, elevate engineering practices, mentor junior engineers, and solve complex technical issues. Requirements

• 5+ years building full-stack web applications, including production React UIs backed by Node.js and TypeScript services, with a focus on end-to-end performance and maintainability
• Strong experience in RESTful API design and relational data modeling in Postgres
• Skilled in architecting scalable, reliable systems using AWS services
• Bachelor's/Master's in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical leadership experience
• You thrive on owning critical systems shaping their evolution and driving initiatives to success
• Possess strong business acumen to align technical strategy with evolving business priorities
• Adept at thoughtfully leveraging AI development tools to boost productivity and quality
• Exceptional communicator, articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences

Responsibilities

• Lead & Build: Spearhead the design and development of complex, high-impact features and services, across the stack, from frontend to backend
• Elevate Engineering: Champion and evolve software development and system design best practices, lead by example in code reviews and drive initiatives that boost quality and innovation
• Mentor & Grow Team: Actively mentor junior and mid-level engineers fostering their growth, while you make significant technical contributions
• Own Critical Problem Solving: Identify, diagnose, and decisively resolve complex technical and system-level production issues
