Summary

This pivotal Federal program focuses on accessible, citizen-centered design and digital services. You will collaborate with a team of engineers to develop end-to-end testing solutions, API endpoints, and services. Daily tasks involve coding, testing, and debugging. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience with Rails, front-end JS frameworks (React preferred), Python, and full-stack application development. Experience with Azure services, API integration, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies is also required. Requirements

  • 3+ years experience working with a Rails backend
  • 3+ years experience with a front end JS framework (preferable React)
  • Strong experience with Python
  • Experience developing full-stack applications supporting tool integration, dashboards, workflows, and automation for the MTS platform
  • Experience with Azure hosted services, including Azure Bot Service and Azure Web Apps
  • The ability to build APIs and services that connect VA systems with tools like Jira, Confluence, GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, AWS Parameter Store and GitHub Actions
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to work domestically
  • Must be able to attain low-level security clearance
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree

Responsibilities

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Natural Languages, Dataverse, Databricks
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with sprints and daily stand-ups
  • Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team of engineers including data scientists, UX, product and software engineers
  • Strong communication skills along with the ability to work well as a team and enjoy constantly learning and adapting
