Senior Fullstack Software Engineer

Summary

The job is a remote position for a software developer at Praxent, a company that specializes in modernizing financial services software applications. The role requires expertise in building client-side software applications, experience with modern component-based frameworks and state management solutions, strong understanding of APIs, Linux/Unix command line, web tooling, DevOps/SysOps, Agile methodologies, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• Mastered building applications in a modern component-based framework and state management solution
• Strong experience either consuming or building backend APIs
• Comfortable on Linux/Unix command line
• Experience with web tooling and automation (e.g. Version Control, Bundlers, Tree-shakers, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Location: Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, Argentina

Responsibilities

Build client-side software applications and beautiful user interfaces

Preferred Qualifications

• DevOps/SysOps, advanced understanding of object-oriented and MVC principles., strong understanding of software development life-cycle and best practices preferred
• Previous agency experience and experience working in software teams with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies preferred
