Senior Functional Consultant

This remote position requires 40% travel supporting Philadelphia and San Diego based teams. You will analyze business requirements, lead configuration and deployment of Oracle HCM modules, collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams, provide expert guidance, develop training sessions, conduct thorough testing, troubleshoot system issues, and stay updated on Oracle HCM product updates. The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 6+ years of experience with Oracle HCM Cloud, and proficiency in core modules. Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 6 years of experience working with Oracle HCM Cloud performing implementations or maintenance of the system
• Proficient in Oracle HCM Cloud, with hands-on experience leading full-cycle implementations in core modules such as Core HR, Benefits, Time and Labor, Talent Management, and Payroll
• Strong understanding of HCM processes and best practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to lead projects and collaborate with diverse teams
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to think critically and solve problems independently

Responsibilities

• Analyze and map business requirements to Oracle HCM functionalities to ensure optimal alignment
• Lead the configuration, customization, and deployment of Oracle HCM modules
• Work side-by-side with clients to maintain and enhance the system
• Design, build, test, and maintenance of fast formulas
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement end-to-end HCM solutions
• Provide expert guidance on best practices for Oracle HCM implementation and maintenance
• Develop and deliver training sessions to empower users and administrators
• Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure system reliability and performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, providing ongoing support and enhancements
• Stay updated on Oracle HCM product updates and emerging trends to continually enhance solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle HCM Cloud certification
• Experience with Oracle HCM integrations and reporting tools
• Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies
• Prior experience either in a consulting role or working in a public sector environment
• Knowledge of global HCM processes and compliance requirements
• Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
