Senior Functional Consultant

Summary

The Senior Functional Consultant role is for an expert in Business Process Management who will aid clients in determining best practices and efficient processes using Microsoft D365 Finance. The position requires 8+ years of software implementation experience, 2+ years of functional knowledge using Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP, relevant certifications, project management skills, and a strong background in Finance & Accounting, Supply Chain or Logistics and Trade processes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of previous experience in software implementation, in the capacity of a Functional Consultant
• 2+ years of Functional knowledge, using Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP (AX 4.0, AX 2009, AX 2012, R1/R2/R3 and D365)
• Microsoft Certified Professional Dynamics Certifications
• Strong background in Finance & Accounting, Supply Chain or Logistics and Trade processes
• Project management skills and experience

Responsibilities

• Determine functional solutions for Business Operations areas
• Partner with the Functional Solutions Architect
• Work with business leadership, end-users, and IT staff
• Understand customer requirements and strive to deliver consistently
• Gather requirements and produce quality functional design documentation
• Act as a conduit between Customers and Technical teams
• Provide solution architecture support and technical guidance
• Work closely with the engagement team to meet and exceed customer requirements
• Maintain a high-level overview of technical competence and domain knowledge of Dynamics ERP products
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Train software users
• Work with customers to achieve a successful result
• Educate end-users on ERP functionality
• Utilize the company's Project Methodologies and Accelerators
• Lead discussions with business process owners and subject matter experts
