Senior Game Designer

Summary

LiquidX is seeking a creative and experienced Game Designer to join their team at Pixelmon, an independent gaming venture. The role involves conceptualizing and designing game mechanics, levels, and narratives that align with the project's vision, collaborating with various teams, and keeping up-to-date with industry trends.

Requirements

• At least 5+ years experience as a Game Designer, with primary focus on mobile games
• Strong understanding of game design principles and player psychology
• Ability to think logically and solve complex design challenges
• Proficient in Unreal Engine and Unity
• Proficiency in game design tools and software (confluence, notion, JIRA, MIRO)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Execute game design documents by fully scoping out: game mechanics, progression, economies, analytics, narratives, and other related features
• Collaborate with the art and development teams and act as a single source of truth for design
• Iterate on game designs and balance in the engine based on playtest feedback and analytics
• Communicate design specifications and requirements clearly with key stakeholders
• Build the design of new casual games and develop conviction for your design through research
