Senior Golang Developer

Summary

Join NearForm as a Senior Golang Developer in a contract position based in Brazil, initially until the end of March 2025, with potential extension. You will play a key role in developing and iterating on complex shared tools used across multiple teams. This role requires proficiency in Golang, experience with cloud technologies, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate is proactive, a good communicator, and focused on delivering quality work on time. NearForm offers remote work, flexible hours, and a wellness hub with resources and support. Remuneration will be discussed.

Requirements

• Proficient communication in English (oral and written) and excellent communication skills
• 5+ years of experience in professional software engineering in an enterprise and agile environment
• Deep understanding of server-side code, with extensive experience developing in Golang
• Experience with gRPC Protobufs
• Experience with complex PostgreSQL query creation and performance optimization
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs & two-way syncing
• Experience with cloud technologies

Responsibilities

• Design and build cloud-based applications using server-side technologies including Golang
• Support system design, development, and maintenance, taking responsibility for personal technical quality standards within the project team
• Assist with defining structured practices, especially in source code management, building, and deployment
• Design and implement data storage solutions
• Optimize performance in applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Get feedback from users and clients and build solutions for them
• Assist with the analysis of client requirements
• Work with and support Technical Leaders in project execution and timely delivery
• Collaborate with internal and client teams

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Finance and Decentralised finance (DeFi)
