Senior Golang Engineer in Poland, Belarus

Summary

IDT is seeking a Senior Golang Software Engineer to join their team and contribute to building next-generation platform products using Go. The engineer will be responsible for the full software development life-cycle, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving technical excellence. Required qualifications include experience as a Senior Software Engineer, deep knowledge of Go, and understanding of modern design patterns. Preferred qualifications include experience in the Payments domain, business analysis, and various technologies like AWS, Kubernetes, and Linux.

Requirements

• Experience as a Senior Software Engineer
• Deep knowledge of Go programming language
• 2+ years of production experience in Go and 5+ years of production experience in total
• Understanding of modern design patterns and proven experience applying them
• Experience in designing and maintaining complex systems
• Experience with microservices
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience with NoSQL databases
• Knowledge and experience with Docker, Git
• Good communication skills and a team player
• Good level of English – B2 or higher

Responsibilities

• Work on new features and bug fixes in the Scrum team
• Take responsibility for the full software development life-cycle, from understanding the needs of the business through coding to deployment and maintenance
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and participate in product and sprint backlog meetings

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Payments domain
• Experience in business analysis and communications with users and stakeholders
• Experience in developing backends for frontends
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with Linux as the target platform
