Senior Growth Engineer

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer, with a strong track record of technical leadership and impactful contributions
• 5+ years of software engineering experience building consumer products
• Past experience working on Growth teams to drive top-of-funnel conversion
• Advanced, proven expertise in our frontend stack: Javascript/TypeScript, React, GraphQL, NextJS, and Remix
• Experience running A/B tests with experimentations platforms (Amplitude Experiment, Optimizely, etc.)
• Ability to make data-driven product decisions, working with Product and various stakeholders to build products that start and end with the customer
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and take initiative in driving technical excellence
• Deep understanding of software architecture, with the ability to evaluate architectural trade-offs and propose improvements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to solve complex technical challenges independently

Responsibilities

• Regularly apply in-depth knowledge of the business domain to enhance your work and the work of others
• Lead design discussions and drive architectural decisions, ensuring alignment with best practices and company standards
• Conduct and lead time-critical resolutions of production issues and navigate the team through project pivots
• Solve complex technical challenges independently and drive some cross-team initiatives
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers within the team
• Take a leadership role with stakeholders, translating business goals into technical solutions, facilitating discussions, and identifying gaps
