Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with healthcare products and data, having directly worked with claims data, patient data, and other health-related data sets
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a healthcare data analyst or healthcare data engineer
  • Proficiency in writing clean and maintainable SQL, Python, and shell scripts for automation, analysis, and ETL using industry best practices
  • Proficiency in executing and maintaining dbt code and tools
  • Proficiency in analyzing and using database schemas and data dictionaries
  • Knowledge of Redshift, BigQuery, and other data warehouse infrastructure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in customer, internal, and leadership contexts
  • High comfort level in operating with autonomy, delivering independently and in a team environment
  • Understanding of business processes, ROI, cost analyses, and financial modeling
  • Understanding of healthcare quality measures (HEDIS, Stars)

Responsibilities

  • Perform data analysis to propose target patient cohorts, identify trends, and assess the Wellth program’s impact and value for our members and payer and provider customers
  • Develop visualizations that persuade existing and prospective customers of Wellth program impact and ROI
  • Partner with customer data teams to ensure successful data ingestion and accurate ROI analyses
  • Create and validate transformations from customer formats to standard Wellth format
  • Perform internal analyses to assist product and operations teams
  • Assist with Quarterly Business Review report generation
  • Lead customer-facing data discussions including presenting and explaining analyses
  • Lead cross-functional data analysis and improvement projects
  • Work closely with the internal data analysis and engineering team on recommendations for improving infrastructure, pipelines, security, and operations
