Summary

Join Pavago as a Senior HR and Payroll Specialist and play a pivotal role in managing employee onboarding and offboarding, payroll, and employee relations. You will oversee payroll cycles, process bonuses and raises, and ensure compliance with local regulations. This role requires strong HR and payroll management experience, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in payroll software. You will act as a point of contact for employee relations, providing conflict resolution support. Additionally, you will contribute to policy development and employee training. The position is full-time and remote.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in HR and payroll management
  • Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple priorities and ensure accuracy in payroll processing
  • Ability to address employee relations issues with sensitivity and confidentiality while implementing effective solutions

Responsibilities

  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, ensuring compliance with SOPs and documentation requirements
  • Facilitate a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees
  • Oversee all aspects of payroll, including running payroll cycles, processing bonuses, raises, and other payroll changes
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll disbursement in accordance with local regulations
  • Act as a point of contact for employee relations matters, providing conflict resolution support and maintaining documentation of employee interactions and issues
  • Ensure adherence to local labor laws and regulations related to HR and payroll practices
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation as required by law and organizational policies
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that support a positive work environment and align with organizational goals
  • Identify training needs and facilitate programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge in HR practices and payroll processes
