Join Lingraphica as a Sr. Human Resources Generalist / DEI Specialist and contribute to a positive and inclusive remote work environment. You will develop and administer programs to boost employee engagement and satisfaction, lead employee relations, and spearhead DEI initiatives. Responsibilities include creating and implementing engagement initiatives, providing DEI expertise, guiding managers and employees on conflict resolution, and supporting the performance review process. The role also involves collaborating with HR leadership on strategic initiatives and staying current on HR best practices. This position requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of HR experience, and experience with DEI initiatives. DEI and PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certifications are preferred.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field
- 5 years or more experience in Human Resources with experience in Employee Relations
- Experience creating Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Demonstrates good judgment
- Strategic thinker that is good at connecting the dots and making recommendations that get at the underlying issues
- Possess empathy and active listening skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to build trust and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to be flexible and multitask in a rapidly changing environment
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- High level of professionalism and ability to be respectful and keep sensitive information confidential
Responsibilities
- Promotes a workplace culture aligned with Lingraphica’s Core Values of Action, Empowerment, Improvement and Integrity
- Creates and implements initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction and recognition, including surveys and feedback mechanisms; analyzes results reinforcing the positive, and makes recommendations for improvement
- Provides diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) expertise, staying current on best practices as well as Federal regulations
- Leads the DEI Workgroup, championing efforts to create an inclusive and respectful workplace and creating opportunities for education and awareness
- Shapes the DEI strategy in partnership with leadership, Human Resources, the DEI Workgroup, with organizational feedback from employees
- Reviews policies and practices from a DEI lens
- Provides guidance to managers and employees on conflict resolution, workplace behavior, and performance improvement
- Fields employee questions and concerns and helps interpret HR policies
- Investigates and resolves employee relations issues, ensuring adherence to company policies and employment laws; documents findings
- Evaluates grievance process and educates organization on clear, transparent process for handling complaints and follow up
- Develops and utilizes a tracking system for employee relations issues; analyzes to determine areas for employee and leader education and policy changes
- Provides input into the performance review process and support in administering quarterly reviews
- Provides managers with tools to effectively manage team performance and support in creating and delivering constructive feedback
- Coaches managers on the performance improvement process, reviews documentation, and provides feedback guidance
- Partners with VP, Human Resources and team on strategy development for HR function that aligns with organizational & DEI objectives
- Helps identify training needs and collaborates with Sr. Learning and Development Specialist around content and delivery as needed
- Continues education, learning and networking externally to stay current and bring in ideas and best practices to improve our HR programs and tools
- May conduct exit interviews, reporting and analysis to identify trends; makes recommendations to address issues
- Collaborates with HR team on other initiatives as needed
