Senior Infrastructure Engineer II

Summary

Join KBRA's Infrastructure Engineering team as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer II! This remote role (with occasional travel) offers a dynamic environment for collaboration and innovation. You will play a key role in architecture/design and operational support for our infrastructure, contributing to project development and implementation. Requirements

• 7+ years of Systems/Infrastructure Engineering experience
• Computer Science degree or similar work experience
• Expert level knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
• Expert level knowledge of Windows Active Directory/DNS/DFS/DHCP
• Expert level knowledge of VMware vSphere 7/8
• Expert level knowledge of Enterprise and remote site backup solutions
• Expert level knowledge of Enterprise SAN technologies
• Knowledge of Automation/Scripting - PowerShell preferred
• Advanced level knowledge of Experience working with Public Cloud (AWS/Azure)
• Advanced level knowledge of Windows Certificate Authority Infrastructure design and management
• Advanced level knowledge of System Monitoring/Alerting

Responsibilities

• Provide architecture/design and day-to-day operational support for our existing infrastructure environment
• Contribute to the development and implementation of current and future projects
• Actively collaborate with various technology teams (DBA, Application Development, Operations, Desktop)
• Proactively monitor computing platforms
• Perform system builds
• Manage processes
• Perform vulnerability remediation
• Perform system patching and changes
• Create comprehensive support documentation
• Provide technical leadership to the team
• Collaborate with team members to enhance team expertise and efficiency
• Participate in on-call rotations

Preferred Qualifications

• Linux knowledge (Ubuntu)
• CI/CD Tools (Terraform, Ansible)
• Network Segmentation Experience (Illumio preferred)
• Secrets Management (Keeper Secrets Manager, AWS Secrets, etc)
• Azure VMWare Solution
• Experience directly managing small teams
• Professional Certifications (Azure, AWS, Microsoft, etc)
