Senior Integration Architect

Summary

Join our team as an Integration Architect to design and implement robust integration architectures using APIs, microservices, and ESBs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop and maintain integration frameworks, and evaluate integration tools. Provide technical leadership, conduct system assessments, and stay updated on industry trends. Ensure the security and compliance of integration solutions. This remote position requires expertise in IBM ITX, integration architecture, MMIS domain knowledge, cloud infrastructure, data management, security, and solution architecture.

Requirements

• Design, develop, and debug ITX maps (formerly WebSphere TX, Mercator)
• Use of Type Trees , Maps , and Schemas
• Strong experience with DataStage TX , Launcher , Command Server , and Adapters
• Design end-to-end integration flows across heterogeneous systems
• Expertise in SOA , ESB , API-led integration , and event-driven architecture
• Knowledge of middleware tools (e.g., IBM Integration Bus / ACE, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, etc.)
• Understanding of Medicaid modules (e.g., Eligibility, Claims, Provider, MCOs)
• Familiarity with HIPAA X12 transactions (e.g., 270/271, 837, 835, 278, 999/TA1)
• Hands-on experience with EDI standards, validation, and translation
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud) for hosting integration components
• Containerization concepts (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes ) if ITX is deployed in cloud-native environments
• Proficiency in handling complex data transformations , validations, and mapping between different formats (e.g., XML, JSON, X12, flat files)
• Experience with data lineage and impact analysis
• Strong understanding of HIPAA , PII/PHI protections
• Experience with encryption , authentication , authorization , audit trails , and secure file transfers (SFTP, HTTPS)
• Ability to create high-level and low-level design artifacts
• Define integration patterns , data flow diagrams , error handling , and recovery strategies
• Experience tuning ITX performance (e.g., memory, throughput, map execution time)
• Familiarity with scalability and high availability design patterns
