Summary

Join our team as a seasoned Network Architect to design and evolve our global production network. You will collaborate with internal teams and managed service providers to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available solutions. This role demands deep technical expertise and excellent communication skills, reporting to the Head of Global Network Architecture. You will design end-to-end solutions, architect network services, implement micro-segmentation, lead network workstreams for mergers and acquisitions, and ensure compliance with regulations. The position requires collaboration with project managers and reviewing work from managed service partners. Remote-first flexibility and opportunities to influence technology direction are offered.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in Network Architecture / Technical Design & Engineering within large-scale environments
  • Proven depth across routing & switching, network security, data center networking, Wi-Fi, and WAN/SD-WAN
  • Hands-on experience with Aruba switching/gateways for Site LAN/Wi-Fi and data center LAN
  • Experience designing security controls with Fortinet firewalls and Zscaler
  • Track record working in global teams with a blend of insourced IT and Managed Service Delivery
  • Strong communication skills; comfortable influencing technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and drive clarity, standards, and outcomes

Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end solutions for Sites & Campuses, Security Perimeters, and WAN/SD-WAN
  • Architect, optimize, and standardize LAN/Wi-Fi, Data Center, and Cloud network services for high availability and performance
  • Define and implement micro-segmentation patterns to meet security requirements
  • Lead network workstreams for Mergers & Acquisitions onboarding and integrations
  • Ensure designs comply with regulations and frameworks such as DORA, BaFin, and VAIT
  • Collaborate with Technical Project Managers to sequence network deliverables and unblock execution
  • Guide and review work delivered by managed service partners and internal teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: CCNP/CCIE, Fortinet NSE, Zscaler (e.g., ZCCA-IA), Aruba (ACSP/ACMP), Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate
  • Experience with Zero Trust/SASE, NAC (e.g., Aruba ClearPass), DNS/DHCP/IPAM (e.g., Infoblox)
  • Network automation/IaC (e.g., Terraform/Ansible, APIs) and observability tooling
  • Prior exposure to regulated industries and audit readiness
