This remote position, contingent upon funding, requires 10+ years of experience in application, data, and/or systems integration. Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in computer science, engineering, math, or equivalent (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)
- 10 yearsโ experience with application, data and/or systems integration
- Strong understanding of integration patterns and best practices
- Proficiency in programming languages relevant to integration development (e.g., Java, Python, Kotlin, C#)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to follow policies and procedures
- Aptitude to address sensitive situations and positively resolve them
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance
- Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and implement complex functional and technical services and system level designs
- Support and maintain Integration platform and integrated components on test and production environments
- Work as part of a team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the establishment of integration processes and standards, leveraging the occasion of the implementation to build repeatable models
- Engage with architects for design collaboration and review
- Create high-level integration architectures, define data mapping strategies, and select appropriate integration technologies based on project needs
- Collaborate with agency and contract stakeholders to understand business needs, translate them into technical requirements, and identify integration points between different systems
- Implement integrations using APIs, message queues, data mapping tools, and other integration technologies to connect disparate systems and facilitate data exchange
- Design and execute comprehensive integration tests to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and performance of implemented integrations
- Mentor junior integration engineers, provide technical guidance, and resolve complex integration issues
- Monitor integration performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to maintain system responsiveness
- Manage changes to existing integrations, coordinating updates with relevant teams, and ensuring smooth transition during deployment
- Create detailed documentation for integration design, implementation, and maintenance, as well as sharing knowledge with the team
