Senior iOS Engineer

Requirements

• Be pragmatic and versatile, and use the best tools to build out the product
• Have extensive experience in building, maintaining and documenting developer libraries
• Have relevant experience with iOS
• Have a passion for maintainable, performant, well-tested and resilient code
• Have an appreciation for the Developer Experience
• Have excellent communication skills, and be able to collaborate in a cross-functional team
• Have curiosity and interest to learn!

Responsibilities

• Create the best checkout experience in the world!
• Rethink how merchants integrate payments, and how customers are paying online
• Design, implement and maintain fully-tested and highly-optimised libraries
• Create first-class documentation for both merchants and internal teams
• Work closely with users to analyse feedback and improve our products and services with each iteration
• Make decisions on technology, building for scale and reach
• Conduct code reviews and mentoring juniors in future as we grow the team
• Maintain the SDK
• Work closely with a cross-functional team of front end engineers, back end engineers, mobile engineers, designers and product

Preferred Qualifications

• Have previous experience of JavaScript UI optimisation
• Have previous experience of accessibility best practices
• Have previous experience of online payments and APMs
