Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on professional experience in enterprise Java and Spring (Boot, Framework, Data, Security) microservice development
  • Familiar with the following technologies and tools: Git, Maven, Atlassian, OpenAPI, Apache Kafka
  • Experience with relational databases (preferably Oracle)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization
  • Experience with technical leadership of 2 or more developers
  • Common data structures and algorithms knowledge
  • Understanding of Design patterns and/or Architectural Blueprints
  • Experience in the digital industry (ideally banking, insurance, financial services or management consulting)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to quickly understand business requirements
  • Fluency in English

Responsibilities

  • Build tailored Java SE/EE and Spring Boot solutions that keep modern banks running smoothly
  • Write and run thorough unit tests to ensure your code is rock solid and reliable
  • Share your knowledge and offer practical guidance on implementation best practices
  • Own key configuration tasks that ensure our solutions are optimized, stable, and aligned with client needs
  • Analyze change requests and defects, and turn them into opportunities to make the system better and more efficient

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agile/Scrum experience
  • Frontend skills e.g. Angular or React
  • German language
