Senior Java Developer

Summary

Join DefineX as a Senior Java Developer and contribute to large-scale technology transformations, from mainframe to microservices. Responsible for software development lifecycle activities, including client meetings, analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of user interfaces and backend services. Required qualifications include a BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics Engineering or related fields, minimum 3 years of experience in Java and JavaScript, full stack development experience in Agile based end-2-end delivery, strong knowledge of OOP, Design Patterns, Test Driven Development, and eligibility to work in Turkey. Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics Engineering or other disciplines
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Development using Java and JavaScript
• Full stack development experience in Agile based end-2-end delivery
• Strong knowledge of OOP, Design Patterns, Test Driven Development
• Experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, JavaScript technologies is must

Responsibilities

• Coding activities on a large-scale technology transformation project
• Primary responsibilities in software development lifecycle, including meeting clients to determine requirements, analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of user interfaces and backend services

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Angular, React or Vue technologies
• Experience in financial services knowledge
• Team Management, risk management, client management experience is nice to have
