Summary

Join Devtech's Global Services Unit as a Software Developer and be part of a creative team responsible for all aspects of software development, from initial specification to launch. You will focus on writing high-quality Java and JavaScript code, contributing to a culture of learning and knowledge sharing. Working closely with product owners, architects, and engineers, you will implement complex back-end systems for cloud-based security products. This role requires strong Java and SQL skills, experience with various frameworks and technologies, and excellent communication skills. Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience with Java
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Familiarity with MVC web frameworks and data-driven applications
  • Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Excellent command of the English language

Responsibilities

  • Work with the team of Devtech Product Owners, Solution Architects, Software Developers, Quality Assurance, and DevOps engineers on implementing complex back-end system that powers cloud-based security products
  • Communicate with the Client stakeholders
  • Develop high-quality solutions that are robust, resilient, and reliable
  • Participate in technical design, code reviews, planning, and retrospective activities
  • Interpret design requirements and concepts to produce new or enhanced application functionalities
  • Write Java and JavaScript to a high standard in a timely and scalable way that improves the code in meaningful ways
  • Participate in company-wide efforts and promote a security, quality, and knowledge-sharing culture across the company

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on big systems
  • Knowledge of HTML5 and React.js
  • Understanding of NoSQL database
  • Experience with Groovy or Kotlin
  • Experience in designing front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • A good understanding of CI/CD
  • Experience working with AWS
  • A good understanding of Scrum methodology
  • Experience with Security domain
  • Experience with the Marketplace enablement
