Requirements

• A good command of the English language is required for this role
• Solid core programming skills in Java or Kotlin are required
• Ability to quickly pick up new technologies and domains is required
• Desire to implement quality software that operates at scale is required
• Ability to operate as part of a team that owns their piece of software and advise on the best shape of a new feature is required
• Open to adopting well-supported ideas and solutions, demonstrating a productive approach towards governance is required
• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with colleagues and contribute effectively to team goals are required

Responsibilities

• Build new features across multiple backend services that are central to our systems
• Work collaboratively with development, testing, and sometimes hardware specialists to deliver excellent business outcomes for customers
• Participate in hack days a few times a year for fun, learning, and prototyping cool and innovative ideas that could benefit our customers
