Join SANDBX's new team working with a leading global consumer insights and market research provider! We're building a platform to help businesses analyze survey data and gain valuable consumer insights. This platform, in active development for over 10 years, uses Java 11, JDBC, Servlets, JSP, Tomcat, Maven, Thrift, Git, and MS SQL. The role involves new feature development, bug fixing, and code refactoring. We require at least 5 years of backend experience and strong Java skills, along with SQL/DB/Cache solution familiarity. The ideal candidate is a team player with excellent communication skills and a willingness to work remotely.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in backend development
• Good knowledge of Java
• Familiarity with SQL, databases, and caching solutions
• Ability to solve algorithmic tasks
• Understanding of web and Java frameworks architecture
• Hands-on experience with Java 11
• Basic knowledge of Servlets and JSP, or willingness to learn
• Comfortable with reverse engineering
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Fluent in English
• Willingness to work in a completely remote environment

Responsibilities
