Senior Java Software Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering
• 5+ years’ technical software development experience with a minimum of 3 years of Java
• Expertise in Object Oriented Design
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of databases
• Able to write effective unit and integration tests

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the team’s design of solutions that help our users recover from disasters
• Perform full stack software development, including database, services, and front end
• Develop new solutions and refactor older code to provide a superior user experience
• Write automated tests
• Peer review other team member's work and provide constructive feedback
• Evaluate newly emerging technologies and participate in business decisions regarding which ones to adopt
• Troubleshoot escalated support issues
• Work with our operations team to continuously improve product environments and automated build/deployment process

• Experience with JQuery
