Requirements

• Experience building, architecting, and leading production greenfield applications with JavaScript, within the context of modern front-end frameworks and libraries
• Professional experience with HTML and CSS
• Experience/empathy towards designing and building a range of user experiences
• Ability to execute a product lifecycle— identify a need, research, establish proof-of-concept, propose, implement, and revise solutions
• Experience and desire to work cross-functionally
• Ability to balance quality and maintainability with speed of execution
• Ability to adjust to the shifting priorities that inherently accompany working in mid-stage, rapid-growth organizations
• Willingness to take on tasks that may be outside of your area of expertise
• Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction and supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to deliver clear, concise information tailored to specific and varied audiences
• Must reside in and be legally authorized to work in the USA

Responsibilities

Improve IM's product experience by designing simple, flexible, front-end architectures for better maintainability and extensibility

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional experience with TypeScript
• Professional experience with Next.js

Benefits

• Compensation of $60 - $85 per hour commensurate with experience
• Preference for a commitment to dedicate at least 30 hours per week to this work
• This position is approved to be compensated for up to 40 hours per week based on the workflow and contractor’s availability
• If a full-time position becomes available, the hiring range is expected to be $120,000 - $160,000 annually
