Senior Laravel Backend Engineer

• Have several years of experience as a PHP developer and extensive hands-on experience with Laravel
• Have worked with MySQL and Redis
• Have experience building RESTful APIs
• Be keen on quality assurance and automatic testing
• Be able to use version control (e.g. Git)
• Be fluent in English and able to express yourself efficiently
• Live within Europe and the time zones CET +/-3h

Responsibilities

• Join a motivated team responsible for further developing the software platform
• Be involved in building and rolling out new features according to the (product and technical) roadmap
• Prepare the platform to open up for more and bigger customers by improving its performance and scalability

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience with Google Cloud Platform or similar cloud platforms
• Have an interest in cybersecurity-related technologies such as envelope encryption, advanced data encryption, and identity server
• Have an understanding of scalability and performance in the context of a database-driven platform
• Have an interest in further exploring Frontend development
