Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Requirements

• Possess strong analytical and data science skills
• Know how to break down complex and ambiguous problems to smaller, more manageable sub-problems and iteratively deliver value to customers
• Be a strong problem solver and communicate challenges and solutions effectively
• Take ownership of algorithms and their performance; be eager to fix and improve them
• Have a drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
• Have deep experience with data science toolkits like scikit-learn, Keras and Tensorflow, including Python, R, and SQL
• Have experience working on advanced web applications
• Have experience working with Terraform or other IaC frameworks
• Be eager to learn from others and help others grow

Responsibilities

• Apply statistical techniques and machine learning to empower our product in the domain of health, wellness, and care navigation
• Build and deploy machine learning / artificial intelligence models to production, and integrate them into the League backend
• Work with product management and other stakeholders to find the best solution to the problem at hand, and then continue to iterate on it
• Balance technical complexity with delivering customer value in a timely fashion
• Work on any part of the stack - from infrastructure, to data, to backend, to frontend
• Compliance with Information Security Policies
• Compliance with League’s secure coding practice
• Responsibility and accountability for executing League's policies and procedures
• Notification of HR, Legal, Compliance & Security of any incidents, breaches or policy violations

Preferred Qualifications

Have experience with web applications written in Go or similar languages
