Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
• 15+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on building scalable loosely coupled Services with low latency data stores
• Proven track record of at least 10 years in leadership roles, managing and scaling engineering teams
• Extensive experience with modern programming languages preferably React, React Native, Ruby, Go, Python, or similar technologies
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment in a high-growth technology or technology enabled company
• Experience productionizing AI/ML models and building proof of concepts leveraging developing technologies
• Strategic thinker with the ability to drive innovation and lead change in a dynamic environment
• Passion for healthcare technology and a commitment to improving patient outcomes

Responsibilities

• Create technology strategy for your scope, set the roadmap, and drive fast iterative launches with incremental customer value
• Own the development and implementation of software solutions across the full stack of the applications - UI and backend Services, on the Cloud, and on the edge devices
• Experience building and externalizing APIs for high volume, bi-directional transactions
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance, support, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including customer, partner, product, design, and operations to deliver impactful solutions that meet business objectives
• Set clear goals and priorities to accelerate the product development and drive business growth with clear customer value
• Champion best practices in software engineering, including code quality, and scalability, while continuously improving development mechanisms
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the pharmaceutical industry

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building and scaling performant and high volume mobile applications
• Experience building and scaling inventory, supply chain, procurement applications
• Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, workflows, and regulatory requirements
• Experience with API management systems such as Apigee and GraphQL
• Experience in building and scaling healthcare or telemedicine platforms
• Advanced certifications or training in pharmacy or healthcare analytics
• Experience with Supply Chain, Inventory Management, and Procurement systems
