Senior Manager

Summary

Join our team as a Senior Accounting Manager and oversee all aspects of the company's accounting and financial reporting functions.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with technical accounting issues
• Experience in a high-growth E-commerce or tech company is a plus
• Public Company experience or exposure to post or newly IPO companies
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including footnotes in compliance with GAAP, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Oversee the preparation of recurring operational accounting tasks covering fixed assets, leases/subleases, raw materials, internally developed software, and capitalization of cloud computing costs
• Maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulation and SOX
• Enforce accounting policies and procedures to maintain accuracy and consistency in financial reporting
• Promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance team
• Stay updated on accounting standards (e.g., ASC 606, ASC 842) and assess their impact on the company's financial statements
• Provide application guidance for complex and technical transactions and ensure compliance with relevant standards
• Perform financial fluctuation analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks to identify potential errors
• Assist in ad hoc financial projects and analyses as required by the Controller and Assistant Controller
