Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, in business, economics, accounting or a similar quantitative business degree a plus
  • At least five years of relevant experience in a top-tier tech strategy or β€œbizops” functions, private equity, or management consulting
  • Truly outstanding problem solving and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to structure complex and ambiguous problems, turning both qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights while developing solutions
  • Excellent presentation skills, with strong attention to detail and a track record of designing compelling and concise presentations for senior leadership that help drive cross-functional alignment
  • Strong project management and execution skills with a track record of getting cross-functional projects over the finish line in tight timelines
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership. Capable of seeking information, solving complex problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations
  • Motivated to build the Expansion Strategy & Operations team in a hyper growth environment, with the opportunity to mentor 1-2 Business Analysts
  • Expert knowledge of Excel/Google Sheet and PowerPoint/ Google Slides
  • Experience with SaaS GTM or Expansion strategy a plus

Responsibilities

  • Operationalize our Expansion Strategy by defining, calculating, and explaining Expansion KPIs with key stakeholders; track progress and explain deviations vs. plan; monitor and ensure sufficient pipeline is created to hit our expansion revenue targets
  • Support Expansion account planning efforts by segment and by vertical in partnership with revenue leaders and vertical heads; Analyze our customer base and identify accounts that are most likely to expand
  • Establish the reporting structure necessary to derive actionable Expansion insights by scoping data and dashboard requirements while overseeing flawless execution by the Marketplace Data Analyst
  • Provide actionable insights to ramp our Placer Marketplace BU, helping increase add-on sales & renewals and minimize asset churn. Drive any operational changes required to implement the recommendations (organize account executive training on specific assets, ensure add-on training is effective, measure and report on add-on usage, etc.)
  • Proactively identify Expansion & Placer Marketplace hotspots (by vertical, segment, expansion lever etc.) that require intervention and proactively investigate, strategize, and implement solutions with business leaders
