Requirements

  • 9 plus years of professional tax experience in international tax, preferably with a large accounting firm or corporate tax department
  • 2 plus years of team lead and/or Management experience
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in building and maintaining effective working relationships at all levels
  • Effective communication skills with a shown capability to lead and make contributions to teams and initiatives
  • Must be self-sufficient, a great teammate, and work well in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment

Responsibilities

  • Oversee U.S. international tax-related planning and structuring projects including corporate acquisitions, divestitures and reorganizations, operational initiatives, and other corporate-led projects
  • Determine the development of international tax strategies to reduce tax cost and facilitate efficient use of cash flows while simplifying the business and increasing overall efficiency
  • Assist with the preparation of the international tax portions of the consolidated U.S. Form 1120, and all other relevant forms, including but not limited to: Forms 5471, 5472, 8858, and 1118
  • Review detailed earnings and profits analysis and calculations for foreign tax credits, Subpart F income, previously taxed income, and foreign source income
  • Monitor and assess impact of both tax legislation in foreign countries and global tax initiatives from the OECD, foreign governments, and other regulatory agencies
  • Maintain and lead global transfer pricing policies and calculations including review and implementation of transfer pricing studies, Country by Country Reporting, and other local transfer pricing documentation requirements; coordinate and review annual transfer pricing documentation
  • Manage and work with regional finance teams in statutory tax audits and inquiries by non-US governmental authorities; review foreign subsidiaries’ income tax and VAT/GST returns
  • Coordinate and communicate directly with other departments, including but not limited to local and regional controllership, technical accounting, treasury, and FP&A that support the tax reporting process
  • Assist in coordinating global tax planning, transactional, and compliance efforts, as well as supporting new business initiatives by analyzing international tax implications
  • Participate in and/or lead global finance initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with OneSource Income tax
  • CPA and master’s degree in tax
