Summary

Join Included Health as a Senior Manager, Product Insights - Core Data and lead a team of analytics engineers to develop and scale data infrastructure and insights that enhance the impact of our products and operations. This role requires a strong technical background in analytics engineering, experience in collaboration and partnership, and a commitment to using data for faster and more impactful decision-making. You will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and growing a team of 4-6 analytics engineers, setting clear goals and expectations, providing individualized support, and recruiting top talent. You will also develop a deep understanding of how data is used at Included Health, improve foundational data models, develop scalable data pipelines, models, and analytics infrastructure, and ensure data quality, reliability, and accessibility. Additionally, you will develop and execute a team-wide analytics strategy aligned with Product Insights goals, build relationships with partners, and prioritize high-value work to deliver measurable results.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience delivering business value through analytics, with a focus on building scalable data products
  • 4+ years of experience leading analytics engineers or data professionals in a managerial or team lead role
  • Strong technical expertise in analytics engineering, including data modeling, pipeline development, and infrastructure optimization
  • Experience managing remote or hybrid teams, with a focus on promoting alignment and collaboration
  • Expert-level proficiency with SQL
  • Significant experience with Python and for data analysis and engineering
  • Experience building dashboards in Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 4-6 analytics engineers
  • Set clear goals and expectations for the team, providing individualized support to maintain engagement, overcome challenges, and manage priorities
  • Recruit and hire for top talent for open positions within the team
  • Develop a deep understanding of how data is used at Included Health
  • Improve Included Health's foundational data models including adding data domains, and driving adoption of new data by downstream teams
  • Develop scalable data pipelines, models, and analytics infrastructure within our data platform to support analytics teams and data consumers across Included Health
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and accessibility through best practices in data governance, testing, and monitoring
  • Collaborate with data engineering and platform teams to improve data architecture and tooling for analytics needs
  • Develop and execute team-wide analytics strategy that aligns with Product Insights goals and our broader goals
  • Build relationships with partners, providing feedback to long-term roadmaps and ensuring agreement on priorities
  • Use consistent judgment and decision-making skills to prioritize high-value work and deliver measurable results

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with healthcare-related data (e.g., claims, eligibility, product data, clinical operations data) and its use in developing insights
