Summary
Join GoDaddy's Customer Engagement Data team as an Engineering Manager and lead a team shaping the technical vision and strategy for a key customer experience platform. Requirements
- 10+ years proven experience in engineering, with 5+ years in a managerial role
- The manager position requires a minimum three-hour overlap with team members in the US-Pacific time zone
- AWS and data platform engineering experience; a passion for data quality and platform reliability is a must!
- Demonstrated success in leading and managing high-performing engineering teams, especially across multiple regions
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a passion for technology and innovation
- Designing and delivering scalable, production-quality software solutions
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS is a plus) and container orchestration technologies
Responsibilities
- Lead a successful team in shaping the technical vision and strategy for a platform that is a keystone to our customer experience and marketing business objectives
- Ensure our team continues with a βShift Leftβ focus on security. This includes the design and development of systems that can contain sensitive customer information
- Build a true omni-channel delivery platform that supports multiple channels including transactional emails, SMS, WhatsApp, outbound phone campaigns, and more
- Partner closely with product management and other teams to define and implement the technical roadmap, setting clear project milestones that align with business objectives
