Join G-P, a leading SaaS-based Global Growth Platformβ’, as a Manager, Software Engineering to lead agile development teams building and maintaining full-stack web applications. Partner with Product, Architecture, and other stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions. Provide technical and people leadership, mentoring team members, and ensuring high-quality software. Drive design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable and secure web applications using cloud native technologies. Own team delivery, ensuring on-time feature releases and meeting SLAs and KPIs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and promote agile practices. Play a key role in hiring, onboarding, and developing engineering talent. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a focus on web applications (backend and frontend)
- 5+ years of technical leadership with engineering management experience
- Deep knowledge of React and Node.js
- Experience with AWS with a strong understanding of serverless and containers
- A hands-on leader who actively contributes in a fast-moving, agile environment
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and CI/CD pipelines
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and a track record of delivering software iteratively
- Experience working with distributed teams and a passion for building high-performing engineering teams
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow team(s) of software engineers (backend/frontend), fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Partner with Product Managers and Architects to define technical direction, solution architecture, and execution strategies for web applications
- Drive the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable and secure web applications using cloud native technologies
- Ensure engineering excellence across the team through code reviews, design reviews, and technical mentorship
- Own team delivery, ensuring your team ships high-quality features on time and meets SLAs and performance KPIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and translate business goals into technical solutions
- Promote agile practices and help evolve our SDLC and DevOps processes to improve productivity and reliability
- Play a key role in hiring, onboarding, and developing engineering talent
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure G-Pβs web applications remain modern and competitive
