Summary

Join Counterpart Health as a Senior UX Manager and play a pivotal role in elevating design as a strategic function within our innovative primary care tool, Counterpart Assistant. You will partner with product, engineering, and executive teams to shape user experiences. Lead high-impact initiatives, optimize workflows, and embed design thinking throughout product development. Drive next-gen, consumer-grade UX and empower your team to become strategic decision-makers. Success will be measured by stakeholder feedback, improved operational effectiveness, faster iterations, stronger integration of user insights, and design's ability to drive best-in-class UX and shape industry standards. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact and set new standards in healthcare.

Requirements

  • Have 7+ years of design experience in a design environment (in-house, agency, or relevant industry), with 5+ years of managing people
  • Bring deep expertise in at least two core UX areas (research/strategy, system design, interaction design, visual design) and strong capabilities in two others
  • Have a portfolio that demonstrates industry-leading work, showing how you’ve driven impact through design strategy and execution
  • Know how to balance high-level vision with tactical execution, helping teams scope work effectively and prioritize learning, not just delivery
  • Have experience in complex systems and applications, knowing how to simplify the complex and create delightful, intuitive experiences
  • Be an advocate for collaboration, working closely with product and engineering to ensure design is a driver of business outcomes, not just execution
  • Be excited about shaping the future of healthcare UX – bringing the same level of quality and innovation seen in leading consumer products to an industry that desperately needs it

Responsibilities

  • Lead at a high level, influencing product, engineering, and executive decisions
  • Redefine what’s possible in healthcare UX, pushing the industry toward best-in-class, next-gen experiences
  • Empower a world-class design team, giving them the tools to lead, innovate, and drive meaningful change
  • Shape a culture of strategic thinking, ensuring design is a driver of business success, not just execution
