Senior Manual QA Engineer

Summary

The job is for an Information Security Analyst at Bounteous x Accolite. The role involves analyzing business requirements, preparing and executing test cases, coordinating with the development team, and participating in QA Sprint planning and test design. Remote work is allowed.

Requirements

• Ability to analyze and understand business requirements/user stories
• Strong knowledge in translating user stories into test scenarios and test cases
• Strong knowledge in test cases execution: functional, regression and performance
• Good experience in testing Web-based application
• Ability to understand and test REST Web services/APIs
• Good experience in defect tracking, bug triage and communicating test results
• Good experience in working with Agile/Extreme Agile process

Responsibilities

• Awareness on information security measures such as acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, password security
• Understand and report security risks and how they impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
• Understand how data is stored, processed, or transmitted from a Data privacy and protection standpoint

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge in database testing would be an added advantage
• Knowledge in Automation preferably Selenium/Java/TestNG
