Summary

Join BambooHR as a Senior Software Engineer and play a crucial role in enhancing our public marketing website. Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Demonstrated ability to produce user interfaces from high-resolution mocks
  • Experience in leading web development projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and best practices in web development
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor team members and contribute to a collaborative work environment
  • Previous work samples demonstrating proficiency in building highly interactive web-based applications

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with designers and cross-functional teams to enhance the functionality and aesthetics of our public marketing website
  • Utilize Javascript and CSS to build engaging and reusable website components which will expand the toolbox of our marketing authors as they craft content
  • Utilize your expertise in data tracking, cookie consent, and experimentation with A/B testing to implement innovative solutions
  • Implement browser beacons and RUM (Real User Monitoring) data to analyze and enhance website performance
  • Utilize tools like Adobe Analytics and workflow management platforms like Make or Integromat to track and optimize user interactions
  • Research and propose performance optimizations and scaling strategies to ensure seamless website operation
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our website's functionality and user experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • You can show that you'd be an excellent communicator with our Javascript developers and UI Designers
  • We can see that you have a service-minded attitude
  • Familiarity with Adobe Edge Delivery Services, AEM and Adobe Target
  • Real-world examples of demonstrated technical leadership
  • Experience with JavaScript testing with tools like Jest, Mocha, Chai, etc
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related degree
