Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience as a QA Engineer, with a focus on mobile app testing and automation
  • Proficiency in Java and Kotlin are a must
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks (Android Studio is a must; experience with Espresso is desirable; experience with Appium, Kakao, Kaspresso will be considered as a plus)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions)
  • Strong understanding of mobile operating systems (Android) and mobile application development
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git)
  • Experience working with agile methodologies
  • Proven problem-solving skills and keen eye for details
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Responsibilities

  • Manually test Android applications extensively to identify software defects and ensure they meet product requirements
  • Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mobile applications
  • Define and establish automation strategies and processes
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks (e.g., Espresso, Android Studio, Appium)
  • Ensure that automated tests are integrated into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and provide feedback on design and implementation
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in mobile app testing and automation
  • Propose and implement improvements to the testing process and infrastructure
