Senior SDET QA Automation Engineering Services

Summary

Join our team as a Senior-Level SDET / QA Automation Engineer based in Argentina or Mexico! This long-term contract role centers on developing and implementing a new test automation framework using TypeScript/WebdriverIO/PlayWright. You will build a scalable framework, migrate existing automated tests, and add new tests. Collaboration with developers and product owners is key. The position requires strong communication skills to effectively report test status and progress. This contract position will not offer company-sponsored benefits.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software testing and quality assurance experience
• Strong programming skills in languages such as TypeScript and Python. Proficiency in TypeScript required
• 6 + years of experience developing software automation frameworks and test scripts using TypeScript/JavaScript or Python
• 4 + years of WebdriverIO/PlayWright experience
• 6 + years experience building web and mobile(appium) automated test scripts
• Experience with Cloud-Native technologies and platforms like AWS/GitHub Action
• Must have proven experience as a technical QA engineer building enterprise-level automation frameworks
• Hands-on experience in building automated scripts in an agile environment

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop and maintain scalable, automated frameworks and tests
• Building a new automation framework using TypeScript and WebdriverIO/PlayWright
• Responsible for developing automated regression test cases using existing automated tests and or manual test cases
• Build test automation from scratch at the services/API layer
• Collaborate with Developers, product owners, and other SDETs to strategize and build automation scripts
• Be an advocate for software quality throughout all phases of development
• Effectively communicate test status and progress to all stakeholders
• You will find, document, and track bugs as needed
• Support production releases as needed

Preferred Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred
