Senior Mobile Developer

Summary

The job is for a Senior Mobile Developer (iOS and Android) who will work remotely from Latin America. The role involves developing iOS and Android applications, code review, and ensuring best practices. The candidate should have extensive experience in iOS development, knowledge of Swift, 3+ years of Android experience, proficiency in Java and Kotlin, UI/UX development on Android, Material Design, Scrum methodology, Git, Crashlytics, Restful apps, MVVM, MVP design architectures, Android Jetpack, Gradle, TDD, and Proguard rules. The candidate should also have excellent problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• Full-time availability (40 hours per week, regular business hours)
• Fluent in English
• Extensive experience building iOS applications
• Must have launched multiple applications to the Apple Store
• Knowledgeable in iOS Development and Swift
• 3+ years of experience building apps with Android
• Experience developing with Java and Kotlin languages
• Experience in UI/UX development on Android
• Experience with Material Design
• Experience working with Scrum methodology
• Experience working with Git
• Experience in Crashlytics
• Experience in Restful apps
• Experience in MVVM, MVP design architectures
• Experience in Android Jetpack (Android X, Navigation Drawer, etc)
• Experience with Gradle, TDD and Proguard rules
• Exceptional problem solving and ability to work independently
• Detail-oriented
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Work on iOS and Android applications for different clients
• Review code of other developers to ensure best practices and consistency across multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Has worked on applications that have augmented reality and features using the camera
• Has worked on applications used by thousands of users
• Realm, Cocoapods/package manager, mvvm
