Senior Mobile Developer

Summary

Join TouchBistro as a Senior Software Developer (Kotlin) and contribute to the evolution of our POS system. You will architect, design, and develop high-quality Kotlin applications, optimize existing solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role requires 4-5 years of Kotlin development experience, expertise in client-server architectures and REST APIs, and a strong understanding of Kotlin and related technologies. You will mentor junior developers and contribute to a collaborative team environment. Requirements

• Have 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Kotlin development
• Have experience with client server architectures, Rest APIs, and have worked with internal and 3rd party integrations in a SAAS environment
• Have a proven track record of successful software development projects
• Have experience with Services on Android
• Have a deep understanding of Kotlin and coroutines
• Have a strong understanding of SQLite
• Be comfortable with unit testing using Junit, mockito, etc
• Have a strong ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment
• Have effective communication skills with cross-functional teams
• Have a College Diploma or Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop high-quality Kotlin applications to advance our technology stack
• Use Ktor for embedded server development
• Optimize and enhance existing software solutions to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex technical challenges
• Propose effective solutions aligned with business objectives
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing development team
• Share knowledge and best practices to elevate the skill set of the entire team
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies
• Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance our software products
• Participate in and conduct thorough code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Have previous experience leading or mentoring a team of developers
• Have experience with Ktor framework
• Have experience with Exposed
