Summary

The job is for a Senior .NET Developer at BCN, a UK-based managed IT services provider. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining products and services as part of a customer-centric team. Essential technical skills are required in .NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, C#, React Native, SQL Server, Azure Application hosting, and Azure DevOps. Desirable skills include familiarity with frameworks like Vue, Angular, React, or Blazor, experience with different types of Databases such as MongoDB, Microsoft certifications, unit testing, Test driven development, Microservices, and experience of developing/architecting Azure solutions.

Requirements

  • Hands on experience using the latest .NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, C#
  • Maintaining applications using C# and other technologies
  • Building Mobile applications using React Native
  • Experience in web frameworks and technologies using AJAX, RESTful services, JSON, JavaScript, Typescript, jQuery, DOM, HTML5 & CSS
  • Full understanding of Object-oriented programming and best practices (e.g., SOLID, DRY)
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL), Writing Complex SQL Stored Procedures, Entity Framework and LINQ
  • Developing large complex applications
  • Azure Application hosting experience or knowledge (Web App, Azure SQL DB, Function App, Storage and Azure Service Bus)
  • Azure DevOps – Boards, Repos and CI/CD Pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with frameworks like Vue, Angular, React, or Blazor
