Senior Network Consultant

Summary

Join Datacom as a Senior Networks Consultant and deliver high-quality technical networking projects for clients, adhering to budgets and timelines. You will leverage your expertise in Cisco, Arista, Aruba, and Fortinet or Palo Alto technologies to design solutions and work collaboratively with internal and external teams. The role demands strong technical documentation skills and experience in client-facing positions within an MSP. Preference is given to Australian citizens eligible for government security clearance or those with existing clearance. This role requires advanced networking knowledge and relevant certifications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of networking focused experience in IT
• Advanced understanding of building, designing and or supporting/diagnosing networks
• Strong technical documentation skills to deliver Design and Support related documents for your solutions
• Certification in two or more vendor technologies. Preferably Cisco, Arista, Aruba, Palo Alto or comparable to a Professional level or higher
• Experience working in a client facing position with an MSP

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Zscaler, SD-WAN, ACI, Cisco Wireless, Load Balancer and Cloud Networking would be an advantage
