Senior Network Security Engineer, Developer

Requirements

• Development contributions to enterprise scale software (Python preferred)
• 8+ years of progressive security experience with expertise in multiple domains such as Governance Risk & Compliance, Network Security, and Cloud Security
• Demonstrated ability to partner with stakeholders at all levels across a large enterprise and drive to outcomes
• Deep understanding and practical application of zero trust strategies, like NIST Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), and hands-on experience with industry leading zero-trust technologies
• Graduate or Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development (programming/scripting) of platform integrations across Cloud and On-Prem environments
• Deploy, lead and maintain Network Security infrastructure including IDS/IPS systems, Sinkholes, Honeypots, etc
• Develop scripts and playbooks to automate routine tasks and ensure consistent security policies across systems
• Develop and implement solutions to better detect and respond to threats in the corporate network
• Perform threat modeling and risk assessments
• Drive the adoption and enforcement of GoDaddy’s Zero Trust Networking across the business

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with networking technologies like firewalls and BGP, and network security technologies like Intrusion Detection Systems and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux hardening and systems administration (Alma Linux, Amazon Linux, etc.)
• Certifications like CISSP, CCNA, CEH, or CCNP
