Join Modernizing Medicine (ModMed) as a Senior Onboarding Specialist and play a critical role in shaping the new hire experience globally. You will facilitate virtual onboarding sessions, design and manage eLearning content, and provide ongoing new hire support. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, experience with virtual facilitation and LMS, and a background in onboarding or talent development. The position involves managing onboarding schedules, coordinating subject matter experts, and overseeing eLearning completion. You will also collaborate with various teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process and identify areas for improvement. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in onboarding or talent development, at least 3 years supporting global teams
- Must demonstrate a mastery of virtual facilitation and virtual meeting tools, preferably Google Meet
- Proven experience in navigating an enterprise Learning Management System (LMS), preferably Docebo
- Experience with eLearning content development and design tools such as Articulate, Canva, and Vyond
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and modern instructional design methodologies
- Experience using Slack and the Google Suite, including Docs, Slides, Sheets, and Forms. Gemini a plus
- Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills are a must-have
Responsibilities
- Facilitate all virtual instructor-led onboarding sessions across all regions
- Coordinate and manage communication with on-cycle new hires setting expectations for their first week
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during the onboarding process, addressing any questions or concerns promptly and effectively. Drive new hire check-ins up to 12 months after onboarding
- Design new onboarding materials as necessary in partnership with the L&D Instructional Designer
- Update and maintain onboarding materials, ensuring they are accurate and reflect ModMed culture
- Coordinate and manage the global onboarding schedule
- Coordinate SMEs and guest speakers for all virtual onboarding sessions across all regions
- Oversee the enrollment and new hire completion of mandatory eLearning (LMS) courses
- Collaborate with People Operations and Corporate IT to manage onboarding workflows
- Keep People Leaders updated on onboarding content and new hire onboarding schedules
- Monitor and identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cross-cultural collaboration. India preferred
- Certification in HR, Talent Development, virtual facilitation, or related areas (e.g., SHRM, ATD)
